2011 has brought some rewarding moment for Aishwarya Rai Bachcan. In the recently concluded Apsara Awards, she was awarded an excellence award for her gritty portrayal in Guzaarish.Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was honoured with yet another award. Ramesh Sippy, the President of the Film & Television Producers Guild of India gave away an award to her for the cinematic excellence of her work as the leading lady in film Guzaarish.
The jury felt that her outstanding performance in an extremely difficult, sensitive and challenging role was indeed an extraordinary accomplishment. Never had any doubts about that! She deserves it!
